About
AJ Walker was born in Orange County California where he spent his early childhood surfing, skateboarding, and playing soccer before moving to Dallas Texas for Middle School and High School. During his time in Texas, he volunteered for over 50 hours in his community at the Boys & Girls Club, Food Bank, and Miracle league which instilled a deep meaning to community service early in his life. AJ moved to Colorado to attain his undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Political Science as well as a law degree from the University of Denver. During his time at law school, he found his passion for helping vulnerable families by working as an extern for the Office of the Child’s Representative as well as Denver Juvenile Court.
Before AJ joined our Firm, he worked in the area of Dependency and Neglect, Juvenile Delinquency and Adult Protection cases, appearing on behalf of the Department of Human Services. Through this experience, AJ honed his skills of advocating for families experiencing extremely difficult periods of their life. He believes that giving children a loving environment and space to grow is one of life’s most difficult and rewarding tasks. However, he also believes that a stable and loving family environment for children starts with their parents, so he is equally passionate about providing clients what they need to achieve their desired outcome in order to repair their family or themselves. Driven by a desire for community service, he finds great joy in using his license to practice law in order to help people.
As an attorney, AJ focuses on making his clients feel heard. He helps his clients to identify their primary objectives and a plan to achieve them. Going through a divorce or a custody dispute can be emotionally charged and draining. AJ is patient and kind in situations of high stress. He believes that the emotional toll of litigation should be considered along with other factors when determining a plan for litigation.
In his free time, AJ loves to snowboard, play video games, enjoy live music, and watch Christian Braun dominate the paint during a Nuggets game!

I found Alexandria White through a neighborhood referral page and this office did not disappoint. From the very first meet (consult) she was very realistic about cost (less than I anticipated), timeframe, and the process. Advice was helpful in every choice I had to make. She was professional yet personal.
