Michael joins our team after having been a deputy district attorney in Denver and Colorado Springs---the two largest jurisdictions in Colorado---where he prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies. During that time he gained valuable experience in the courtroom and was generally considered to be an extremely effective trial attorney. He developed a reputation for being both fair and reasonable. Not an easy balance to achieve in that line of work.
As a passionate and articulate advocate, Michael believes in hard work and honesty. Above all else Michael believes strongly in equality, fairness, respect, and that the cornerstone of effective representation is total and unfettered communication.
Michael looks forward to helping his family law clients face, tackle, and overcome some of life’s most difficult challenges. He is excited to represent people as individuals as they navigate through the court system and hopes he can be a calming presence in such a tumultuous time. Having been raised by a single mother he can relate
s to some of the issues that these circumstances can raise.
Michael enjoys spending time with his family. He is a passionate animal advocate and enjoys working around the house and putting together puzzles. His true passion is cycling and triathlons; he is a competitive cyclist and triathlete and hopes to compete in the Ironman World Championship in his age group in the very near future.
